The Spiral

_ Why is the spiral up so loose,
While the downward spiral’s
Tightening grip grapples like noose knots
Suffocating breath?

The quest for knowledge
Broadens slowly.
To quick to think
And the pen is to slow
Don’t you think?

See?
We question our every move,
If not to others
In our own
Selfish groove.

It’s time to move
Forward to begin
There ain’t no sin
In these times we livin',

Just misgiven information
About the rule
The golden rule
It should have been the
Thread pulled from the spool

A tight spiral unwinding
Slowly binding
The fabric that’s
Finding its way back
Back to the intellectual
Opening up the thought pool

A cerebral tool

To use
    To find
        The reason why

The spiral up is so loose.
